FAQ

Questions and answers.

Does editing a workflow spend credits?

No. Graph editing, local nodes, palette work, masks, the compositor, cached results and ordinary project work do not spend Oro Balance.

Which plans allow my own provider keys?

Personal supported provider keys are available only on Oro API or custom Enterprise plans. Starter, Base, Pro and Team do not permit personal provider keys.

What happens when my Oro Balance reaches zero?

The canvas and local tools keep working, and BYOK remains available for select plans. Only a managed run that needs more Oro Balance is paused. Starter waits for its next monthly reset before another managed run can use included Balance. Starter has no top-ups and no personal provider-key fallback.

Do included monthly credits roll over?

Starter, Oro API and Base reset each month with no rollover. Pro and Team credits roll over for up to three months, capped at three times the plan’s monthly credits.

How will top-ups work?

When paid plans launch, top-ups are planned at $10 for 1,000 purchased credits on Oro API, Base, Pro and Team. Purchased credits stay separate from monthly credits, last twelve months from purchase and remain available across plan changes. Starter does not support top-ups.

How does Team allocation work?

The proposed Team plan includes 1,500 monthly credits per seat in one shared organization pool. Administrators can set default and member-specific spending limits against that pool. Those limits do not transfer credits into personal wallets.

How do I move around the canvas?

Use the Navigation panel to choose the mouse or trackpad controls that suit you. Pan to move around the workspace and zoom out when you need to see the whole graph.

Why will two ports not connect?

The output needs to match a type accepted by the input. A Prompt sends text, for example, so it belongs in a prompt input rather than an image input.

Connections

Can I use the same prompt in more than one place?

Yes. Connect its output to more than one compatible node. You can try different models using the same prompt or reuse a description across several images.

Prompts

Where do I start if a blank canvas feels like too much?

Open an included workflow such as Custom Model Creator. Read the prompts and follow the connections, then change one part at a time.

Included workflows

Can I save just a part of a workflow?

Select the nodes you want to keep and save them as an Asset. You can place that group into another workflow later.

Assets

Does every node use a paid model?

No. Oro includes local tools as well as connected generation models. Review the provider and cost shown for a generation request before running it.

Generation

How do I report a problem?

Send the Oro version, the node you were using, what you expected and a screenshot or short recording to gabriel@oro.tools.

Support

Does everything in Oro work offline?

No. Local editing tools run on your computer, but connected models need internet access to process a request. Account services also need a connection. Check the tool you are using rather than assuming the whole workflow is offline.

What should I check before a connected generation?

Review the prompt, connected images, model, output settings and cost estimate when available. A connected service receives the inputs needed to process the request. For client or sensitive material, check that service’s data handling before sending it.

How do I get access and activate Oro?

Download Oro for Mac and create your account. Verify your email, then sign in inside Oro with the same email.

How do I start with an image I already have?

Drag the image into the canvas or add an Image Input node. Connect its image output to the tool you want to use next. Keep the source nearby so you can compare it with the result.

How do I connect two nodes?

Drag from the output port on one node to a compatible input port on the next. For example, connect a Prompt output to the prompt input of Text to Image. An image output belongs in an input that accepts images.

Where do I choose the generation model?

Choose the model inside the generation node, then review its settings before running it. Different models accept different inputs and offer different controls. Start with one result, review it and adjust from there.

Do I need my own provider keys?

That depends on your access plan. Oro API supports using your own provider keys. Check the Pricing and Oro API pages for the available options before setting up connected generation.

Do I need to run the whole workflow again?

When you are trying a change, run the node that needs the new result. Check its inputs first, especially if an earlier node has changed. Keep useful alternatives so you can compare them.

What is the difference between a workflow and an Asset?

Save the workflow to keep the full setup. Save a selected group of nodes as an Asset when you want to reuse that part in another workflow.

How do I save and export my work?

Save the workflow so you can reopen the nodes and continue editing. To deliver an image, connect the result to Export and choose the destination and output settings. Saving the workflow and exporting the image are separate steps.
